    Easy to install and works flawlessly.

    I liked the fact it came with it's own mounting track did not have to buy another track.

    mounting screws

    Very well built and sturdy rod holder. I am using it to catch large tarpon, 100-130 lbs. However, the mounting screws provided are like toys. They are woefully inadequate. A tarpon would rip them out. I had to open the countersink to accommodate 1/4-20 screws. The gunnel mount should also have 3 screws instead of only 2. Suggestion to Big Jon: send it out with 1/4-20 screws and provide 3 countersunk holes in the base mount.

    Ratching Rod Holders

    Rod holder itself is very sturdy. 2.5” x 2.5” base. Only thing I didn’t like was the tiny set screws on the base holding it done, hard to move the holder between other base locations. Great product otherwise!!
